My Values

My practice is guided by principles which derive from my training as a psychologist and my own values of working with integrity and in service to the optimal well-being of my clients and colleagues.

Evidence based practice

I tailor my approach, so that all my work is based on robust scientific evidence.

I work from a strengths-based perspective

I believe that it is important to focus on what people can do rather than what they lack or need. Effective intervention and projects are those that seek out and build on the assets within individuals and communities.

I am committed to the highest standards of professional practice

I am bound by the British Psychological Society’s code of ethics; receive regular supervision and invest in my skills by undertaking regular training (in ACT for example) always build a strong working relationship with my clients and colleagues to ensure that I deliver on time and to the highest standard. I am a member of the British Psychological Society and Division of Health Psychology.
